the INECE Web Site
The
INECE Web site seeks to introduce visitors to the activities and
tools that support effective compliance and enforcement. The main
components of the Web site are:
- INECE
Forums section which is designed to encourage ongoing topical
discussions between INECE members, as well as
training for government officials, NGO partners and others in
the environmental compliance and enforcement community;.
- A regional
section to highlight country-level enforcement initiatives;
- An
extensive searchable library
of practitioner literature and data;
- INECE
news and Biannual Newsletters;
and
- Calendar
of international compliance and enforcement events.

on INECE's Forums
The INECE Forums are interactive
discussion areas that INECE members can use to communicate thoughts
and recent projects and serve as a representation of INECE's Networking
mission. Here users can post/read messages (i.e., bulletin board),
join listservs, hold conversations in chat rooms, and participate
in expert-led discussion. A secure environment can be created
for enforcement coordination and respond to other confidential
needs. INECE Forums topics include: Hazardous
Waste, Indicators,
Inspectors, Public
Access to Information, Pesticides,
Ozone, Water,
and Wildlife.

The International Network for Environmental Compliance and Enforcement
(INECE) is a network of government and non-government enforcement
and compliance practitioners from over 100 countries. INECE's
goals are: raising awareness to compliance and enforcement;
developing networks for enforcement cooperation; and strengthening
capacity to implement and enforce environmental requirements.
The INECE Web site provides interactive discussion Forums and
an
extensive searchable library
of literature and data developed by leaders in the environmental
compliance and enforcement community.
