This document gives examples
of environmental management approaches to help government
planners can make
informed decisions on the approaches best suited to their
needs.
The purpose of this document
is to provide policymakers with an outline of the environmental
problems associated with trade in potentially hazardous
substances (hazardous waste, pesticides, and ozone depleting
substances) and a summary of programmatic approaches in
use to control these impacts.
