For this Conference, you must make your own hotel reservations. If you have not already contacted the Hotel Kenzi Farah in Marrakech, please contact them as soon as possible to make your reservations. You must make your reservations before March 15.

The most effective way to reserve your space at the hotel is to email the Kenzi Farah at resafarah@kenzi-hotels.com. Do not use the hotel's Web site or other online reservation services as they may show no availability or may accept the reservation, but not include you in the block held for the Conference.

The hotel Kenzi Farah is situated in the heart of the city, within a short walk of the markets, souks, and old town square, and is a short drive (10-20 minutes) from the airport. Despite its central location, the hotel provides a peaceful atmosphere due to the extensive gardens that surround it, creating a sense of tranquility. The hotel was completely renovated in 1997.

Flights and Ground Transportation

Although there are few direct flights to Marrakech International Airport, Royal Air Maroc and other major carriers operate flights from many major cities to Casablanca. From Casablanca, it is a short (approximately 40 minutes) flight to Marrakech. Royal Air Maroc is providing participants with special discounted fares. The smoothest way to travel around Marrakech is in one of the fleet of beige-colored ‘petits taxis’ for short trips or the ‘grands taxis' for trips further afield. Taxis are available from Marrakech International Airport and from Marrakech (train) Station. An approximate taxi fare from the airport to many of the major hotels (10-15 minute ride) is 100-150 dirham. It is recommended that you agree to a fare before accepting a ride.
