Principles of Environmental Enforcement Training

Principles of Enforcement ParticipantsDraft Summary: INECE presented an executive version of its core course for participants and local practitioners. The course built capacity for implementing compliance and enforcement programs in a variety of governments and cultures.

This course, which was presented in one French session attended by 40 participants and two English sessions attended by a total of 60 participants, stimulated creative thinking on ways to implement national goals, laws, and requirements in a manner that effectively changes behavior in society to achieve desired environmental results.

The course focused on good governance and enforcement as applied to water and waste issues.
