CUSTOMS PROCEDURES

A.  Your Air Waybill must contain the following information:

1. A detailed list of all items entering the country

i.e.:  documents, brochures, books, computer equipment (monitors, printers, cables, etc.), scissors, pencils, panels, banners, etc.

2.      Use the following consignee’s name and address (on the Air Waybill):

3.      No declared value for carriage (NVD) and no declared value for customs (NCV)

B.   Please fax the following information to Ms. Carolina Mauri , fax: (506) 293-4298:

1.      Exact shipping date

2.      Name of airline carrier or name of courier

3.      A copy of the air waybill (containing the number of pieces, weight, etc.)

4.      A copy of the commercial bill (invoice) in Spanish (please use format below):

C.   Please deposit US$250 in the following bank account to cover customs costs:   

(shipping and handling, insurance, transportation, storage, etc.).  You will be re-imbursed if appropriate.

D.    NOTE:  All shipping material must arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica no later than   

April 1^st.  INECE does not hold itself responsible for items arriving after the established date and will not guarantee the safety of this material.
